Our Mission

We are passionate about cycling.

Maidenhead Cycle Hub is dedicated to bring the benefits of cycling to individuals, communities and the environment. We work to get more people cycling by providing bicycle servicing & repairs, organised rides, advice on bike routes & cycling safety, as well as selling affordable refurbished bikes.

Since our charity was set up in 2015, our mechanics and volunteers have refurbished over 3,000 bikes during the last 10 years.

Our services are tuned to meet our goals; to improve the local environment, promote the health benefits of cycling; create opportunities to socialise around cycling activities, a provide learning & technical skills for volunteers and local residents.

Environment

To repair, reuse and recycle bikes to protect our environment and save unwanted bikes and bike parts from landfill

To encourage cycling for better physical, mental and environmental health and to get out and about and enjoy cycling around the Maidenhead area

To get more people out cycling within RBWM by promoting safe and affordable cycling

To provide advice, education and training about cycling and to provide opportunities to learn new skills

Refurbished Bikes

Our volunteers and qualified mechanics refurbish bikes donated by our community, focused on safety and sound mechanics.

Rides & Classes

We provide led rides and maintenance classes so cyclists and families can learn safe local routes and maintain their own bikes.

Servicing & Repairs

Cycle Hub’s professional qualified mechanics repair and service bikes to ensure that they are safe,  run smoothly and last longer.

Cycling Advocacy

The Cycle Hub works with the RBWM Council and cycling, health and environmental groups to improve cycling in the local area.
