Established in 1999, Mikkom is a Windsor-based software development company who specialises in producing innovative and highly secure patient booking, messaging and information exchange software, for the NHS and other international “Blue-chip” healthcare organisations. Mikkom has always been proud to support worthy causes and for many years has provided its messaging services “pro bono” to Defence Rehab (DNRC), to streamline how injured service personnel access their medical appointments.
At the start of the pandemic, Mikkom modified and deployed one of its systems free of charge, to provide much needed automation to facilitate how local volunteers could meet the needs of our vulnerable West Windsor community. Its most recent work was to provide a small amount of assistance, via conference calls, emails and some hands-on practical support, to the Maidenhead Cycle Hub, who needed a just little extra technical guidance and help, when moving and improving their website.
