The Maidenhead Advertiser is far more than just a local newspapers as every time you buy a copy or take out an advert you are in fact helping to fund local good causes?

Baylis Media Ltd, which publishes the Maidenhead Advertiser, is owned by The Louis Baylis (Maidenhead Advertiser) Charitable Trust, which receives at least 80 per cent of the company’s profits. It in turn uses these to help fund charities, community groups and good causes in Maidenhead, Windsor and Slough and the surrounding areas. This is unique in the world of local newspapers. Ownership of the Maidenhead Advertiser was transferred to the Trust more than 50 years ago in 1962 by the then proprietor Louis Baylis. And since then it has poured millions of pounds into our community, allowing hundreds of organisations and charities to improve the lives of thousands of people.

Everyone in the area will know someone who has benefited because of support from the Louis Baylis Trust.

So, every time you buy a copy of one of our papers not only are you getting all the latest news, you are helping to fund good causes in our community where you live and work.

And if you have a business that advertises with us you are, through the paper and the Trust, helping to make a huge positive difference in our community.
