Windsor and Maidenhead Public Spaces Consultation
The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead council are asking residents to give their feedback on proposals for two new Public Spaces Protection Orders (PSPO).
PSPO’s propose to deal with anti social behaviour in an area that is having a detrimental effect on the quality of life for those in the local community. It can prohibit certain things or require specific things to be done.
The proposed PSPO includes asking for persons cycling on the highway in the pedestrianised zones in King Street and the High Street, Maidenhead and/or Peascod Street, Windsor to stop. Failure to comply could result in a fixed penalty in the sum of up to £100.
